Award-winning singer and performer Rema has recorded a new achievement on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with the remix of his record-breaking song ‘Calm Down’, which features the popular American singer Selena Gomez.

The Nigerian singer’s song became the first afrobeats song to debut in the Top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. ‘Calm Down’ has continued to move up on the chart after the song peaked at number one on the US Pop Radio Chart as well

The popularity of ‘Calm Down’ has been on the rise, with popular celebrities such as football star Cristiano Ronaldo and movie iconic Vin Diesel all indicating that they enjoy the song as well.

Rema also became the most streamed afrobeats artist of all time on the digital streaming platform Spotify after gaining a huge number of streams.
