PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL –
6ix9ine’s alleged gym attackers have reportedly been arrested.
According to WPTV, three suspects believed to be behind the bloody beatdown were taken into police custody in Palm Beach County, Florida on Thursday (March 30).
Rafael Medina Jr., 43; Octavious Medina, 23; and Anthony Maldonado, 25, are accused of assaulting and robbing the Brooklyn rapper (real name Daniel Hernandez) at an LA Fitness in South Florida on March 21. The attack was caught on camera.
Jail records show that the trio were booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on assault and robbery charges. They are expected to make their first court appearances on Friday morning (March 31).
Police and paramedics were called to the scene after gym staff heard the commotion, resulting in 6ix9ine being taken via ambulance to a local hospital.
Footage of attack posted on Instagram showed 6ix9ine lying on the floor protecting his head as two men stood over him and kicked and punched him.
“Bitch ass! Clown ass n-gga!” one of the men could be heard shouting while roughing up the rainbow-haired rapper. “Take a picture! I want to be famous now, n-gga!”
The video’s caption read: “King Shit we caught 6ix9ine slipping fuck a rat ADR not on our hood,” suggesting the attack was sparked by 6ix9ine’s history of snitching.
A video of the aftermath of the attack showed the “GUMMO” rapper sporting a swollen and bloodied face as he made his way through the gym.
“They jumped me,” he said while a fellow gym goer who claimed to be a fan recorded him.
A photo of 6ix9ine’s injuries provided an even closer look at his swollen, bruised and bloodied face. He also reportedly suffered injuries to his jaw, ribs and back.
The incident was met with glee among many of 6ix9ine’s rap peers. “Lmao SNITCHES GET STITCHES LETS START A GO FUND FOR THIS GUY,” Boosie Badazz wrote on Twitter alongside a clip of the beatdown.
“WE NEED TO START A GO FUND FOR THIS GUYLIKE COOKIE MONEY SAY WE GOTTA STARTT REWARDING THE REAL ONES,” he added, referencing one of the attackers.
Jim Jones, who has clashed with 6ix9ine in the past, danced with a smile on his face when asked about the rapper’s misfortune in a recent interview with TMZ.
